Portrait and lifestyle photographer Bill Miles recently shot for World Merit, a UK-based organization that develops future leaders through opportunity worldwide.

Bill was tasked with shooting a group of  360 millennials from every corner of the globe who gathered for an intensive ‘camp’ workshop to conceive and hone presentations to the United Nations.  The presentations addressed the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Bill served as both a mentor to these young adults in helping them prepare their presentations, and also a photographer to create a visual story around the event. Aside from the diversity (there were only 4 Americans present), Bill was struck at the ambition, talent, eloquence and vitality of these future change-makers.

Perhaps the world’s vast problems can be resolved if we can put aside our biases and stereotypes, and work together for positive change?
