Carl Tremblay for the Wall Street Journal

When Photographer Carl Tremblay was asked to shoot the owner of a restored Jeep from World War II for the Wall Street Journal, he was excited to meet the man who put 5 years of love and labor into a 7 decade old vehicle.  David Cadorette bought the Jeep in Connecticut for $4500 and went to some serious lengths to return it to its original condition.  5 years later, David is often stopped by Veterans with inquiries and stories, a treat he welcomes to complete its history.  While photographing David on location, Carl also enjoyed and related to the passion and persistence that goes into completing a personal project such as this.
